Kong Dog Toys- The World's Best

KONG dog toys are the world's best dog toys, or so the KONG Company advertises. What makes KONG dog toys the best, I wonder. Could it be the patented durable red rubber that stands up to the normal chewer? Maybe the ultra-durable black rubber KONG dog toys that are specially designed for the aggressive chewer makes KONG the best. This company thinks of everything. They have developed a softer blue and white rubber for toys that your puppy will enjoy. The newest line of KONG dog toys includes purple rubber senior toys, which are gentler for a dog's aging teeth and jaws.

The rubber KONG dog toys are certainly recognizable as a KONG product, but this is not what has made the KONG line of dog toys famous. The KONG Company has perfected hard rubber dog toys that hold doggie treats. These Stuff-n Combo toys come in a variety of shapes and sizes, each with a cavern to stuff included treats. Your dog has to play with the toy in order to find the treat. Imagine what fun he will have, and how excited he will be when he finds his surprise hiding inside. The treats are also available separately so your dog can continue to enjoy his Stuff-n toy.

The KONG Company may be famous for their rubber Stuff-n dog toys, but they have also perfected the tennis toy and the plush dog toy. KONG's tennis toys are made in the same factory that real tennis balls are made. These are called the Air KONG toys. The difference between a regular tennis ball and an Air KONG ball is that, unlike regular tennis balls, Air KONG has a protective coating that prevents tooth abrasion. This coating also makes the Air KONG line of balls easy to clean.

The plush line of KONG dog toys is especially durable because KONG has double stitched them all. These plush toys are also unique because they have pouches in them that hold the squeakers. Additional replacement squeakers are available at a small cost. This is nice because once your dog has found the squeaker and destroyed it, you can give him a new one and he won't lose interest in the toy. These pouches are also fun snack pouches.

My favorite of the KONG dog toys is the KONG Time toy. This toy was designed for the dog that has to stay home alone for more than a short length of time. The KONG Time is a time released capsule that holds four different KONG Stuff-n Combo toys (sold separately) in four different parts of the capsule. The owner sets the period of time he will be away and the KONG Time will release each of the four toys at different times during the preset duration. Each release of a toy is preceded by a beep so that your dog knows its play time.

I don't know if all of the KONG dog toys are actually the best in the world, I don't own them all - yet. I do know that my dog thinks that the KONG Time is the best there ever was.
